Though I wanted to use fresh pomegranate juice for this drink, I can’t produce a smooth enough texture, so I try it with organic pomegranate juice from the store (NOT Pom, a local French brand). Here beginneth the playlist…Ģ gin, 1.5 pomegranate juice, fresh pomegranate seeds, 1/2 lime, 1 Campari, 1 fresh grapefruit juice, lime curl garnish. ![]() I use Gordon’s gin for all three recipes, though if you can afford it, the second and third are better with Tanqueray. So while “1” is approximately one shot, you’ll need to play with each drink a bit to find your balance. I should mention that my measuring system uses, not ounces, not centiliters, but a white espresso cup with red wings jutting out as a handle, a gift from the beloved voisine Loïse. A veritably sexy massacre by cocktail, with drinks named accordingly. Yes, these are the recipes from the Valentine Cocktail Massacre, my solution to heartbreak in Paris in winter.
